Character balls are available in four sizes. Pricing scales with size:

• 70% (Compact) — approximately 55–70mm. Good for desk display or gifting.
• 100% (Standard) — approximately 80–100mm. The designer's intended size.
• 150% (Large) — approximately 120–150mm. Great shelf piece.
• 200% (Extra Large) — approximately 160–200mm. Statement piece.

Exact dimensions vary by model. CPL3D designs show exact dimensions on their product pages in the shop.

100% is the most popular and the size the designs were built for — proportions, details, and color separation are all optimized at this scale. 70% is great if you want something portable or you're buying multiples. 150% and 200% make impressive display pieces but cost more to produce.

If you're unsure, go with 100% — you can always order a larger one later.

3D printed objects are produced layer by layer, which can result in subtle surface texture visible in certain lighting. This is normal and part of the medium — it doesn't affect structural integrity or overall appearance at normal viewing distance.

Every print is inspected before it leaves. We look for layer delamination, color bleed, stringing, and any defects that would affect the finished look. If something doesn't meet our standard, it gets reprinted.

We print exclusively with Bambu Lab PLA filaments on a Bambu Lab printer. Bambu PLA is a high-quality material with consistent color accuracy and good detail resolution. Each design uses the specific filament colors specified by the designer.

Print times vary by model and size — anywhere from a few hours for smaller simpler designs to 10+ hours for larger complex ones. We queue orders in the order they're received. You can expect your order to begin printing within 1–2 business days of confirmation.

We currently ship within the United States only. We're based in San Diego, CA. International shipping may be added in the future — check back or get in touch if you're outside the US.

Allow 5–10 business days from order confirmation to delivery. This includes print time, inspection, packaging, and transit. If you need something by a specific date, contact us first and we'll let you know if it's feasible.

Orders are packed carefully with protective materials to prevent movement and damage in transit. Character balls ship in snug foam or bubble wrap inside a sturdy outer box.

Because every item is printed to order, we don't accept returns for change of mind. However, if your order arrives with a print defect, significant quality issue, or is damaged in shipping, we'll make it right — either a reprint or a refund, your choice.

Please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order if there's an issue, and include a photo of the defect.

We consider the following defects eligible for reprint or refund:

• Significant layer delamination or warping that affects the shape of the model
• Incorrect or badly misaligned filament colors
• Missing pieces or broken parts due to the print
• Shipping damage (crushed, broken in transit)

Minor surface texture, slight layer lines, or small cosmetic variations that don't affect the overall appearance are normal characteristics of FDM 3D printing and are not considered defects.

Unfortunately we can't accept returns for sizing — each print is made to order and can't be resold. We'd suggest double-checking the size options before purchasing. If you're unsure, 100% is always a safe choice, and you can always order a different size later.
